Becoming a paid member allows you to vote in all issues before the membership, including Board member elections. Funds are used to support the purposes for which GPNA was formed:
a) To encourage all residents to communicate about and remain informed of community issues
b) To maintain an open line of communication among neighbors, area businesses, government agencies and elected officials
c) To provide an open process by which all members of the neighborhood may engage in the affairs of the neighborhood
d) To provide and foster a social outlet among residents
e) To encourage the support of local businesses
f) Educational purposes to teach the community about zoning issues that directly impact our neighborhoods;
g) Combating community deterioration by working with residents and elected officials to promote growth and development that does not have an adverse impact on the welfare of our community and maintains the character of our neighborhoods; and
h) Advocate on behalf of our community within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
i) For such other objectives as are approved by the Board of Directors (Board / Directors) or membership.
